About Laura
It is my passion to help women feel as good as they should. That may be helping them improve energy, have easier periods, better sleep and less anxiety. Understanding and navigating the symptoms that come up during perimenopause and the challenges that can arise post menopause such as urinary and vaginal changes is a large part of my work with clients too.
I believe no woman should have to endure distressing emotional and physical symptoms unsupported due hormonal imbalances in their 20’s and 30’s and again more turmoil during the perimenopause and post menopause.
Symptoms that can impact relationships, the ability to go work, be a parent or friend, to exercise and to enjoy life to the full.
Supporting a healthy pregnancy and postnatal journey is another key area for me. Making sure mum is well nourished at every step. Having had a twin pregnancy while having a thyroid condition i know first hand how taxing pregnancy and breastfeeding can be and how valuable naturopathic support can be.
Aside from hormonal health, adrenal, thyroid and gut health are areas that i spend lots of time with as these are essential foundations for everybody.
My nutriton advice is practical and easy to implement. I appreciate how busy and stressful life can gets from listening to the stories of hundreds of women over the years and as a working mother to teen twins myself.
I pride myself in keeping the advice relevant to the individual, based on evidence from research and always as practical as possible.
“Laura quite simply changed my life and I am so grateful for all her guidance & knowledge. Laura is passionate & really drills down into your gut health / diet to offer solutions.
I would not be without this wonderful human and her incredible knowledge. ”
For me to keep my health in check I enjoy walking in the South Downs with my dog and family or yoga and a sauna with friends. Oh and a bath. Love a bath! Juggling my own business and parenting two energetic teen boys is demanding so daily down time is a priority.
I feel it is a privilege to be trusted with my clients health concerns and intimate life stories. Working out the why behind a problem, sharing this and then striving for true health as more than just the absence of disease is at the heart of how I work.
